Perhaps it doesn't deallocate the pointer because glUnmapBuffer isn't called. Try adding that at the end of the function.

EDIT: Nevermind, seems like it's called at the start of the function.

I can vouch for the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 62XX. I have a 6205 model which lacks Bluetooth, but I don't mind, because I can just use the 2 euro DealExtreme Bluetooth dongle whenever I need it. This chip is very stable, much more so than the original Atheros chip I had in my ASUS notebook.
