Evening everyone,
Let's hope this forum brings back what we used to have a few years ago.
For those who don't know because they enrolled after the forum died; this forum used to be a place to discuss projects and/or classes. We had sections dedicated to every specific year and you were able to see the section of your year and the ones below it. This way the older students could help the students who were struggling as well as discuss with the students of their year.
Could be possible Jeremiah will put this system of year based sections/groups back in as well but he's a busy man

I'm no game developer, sorry. I work in IT Security, I analyze and reverse engineer malware, hunt for vulnerabilities and do all this legally while working as a security specialist @
Fox-IT. If you want to know more about what I do follow me on
Twitter or read my
Blog.

Good to see that the forums are back. Hopefully they will stay up for quite a while.

I can also remember a cesspool of immaturity. Let's not have that again.

Gotta love the impersonality of all these student numbers.
Yah, sorry about that. phpBB doesn't allow you to specify a different username than your login ID. I tried to install a mod that should allow for this, but that broke the LDAP authentication so I had to uninstall it. If the mod author fixes the mod to work with LDAP authentication, I will consider retrying it.

Yonathan,
I actually started setting up the forums the way you suggested but Jacco said that there were just too many "subfora" and it was difficult for people to find new posts when they had to drill down through the categories too deep. As a compromise, I setup a few key top-level forums. There is still the possibility to create sub-forums in these forums later if so desired.
Regards,
Jeremiah

Yes, we are also trying to keep the immaturity to a minimum. I hope this forum can be used better than the previous.

Good evening everynyan,
I do hope the forum will be as good as (what I was told) how it used to be...
I guess we could call each other Test Subject #[studentnumber] ... yeah, I'll probably end up doing that xD
